What would you do there? You don`t like iRacing. We are paying for it, and i`m happy that there is a forum without too much trolling..let other forum`s do that..
Elitist? Ohh my god...I thought you was much clever than that..my mistake..
I don`t wanna se the word idiot or moron on servers...no doubt about that. I don`t wanna see iRacing beeing like LFS, rFactor server wise. I have been pushed off but I would never ever call a competitor for an idiot or moron. I will get on with my race, watch the replay an decide what to do. If he did it by a mistake (all in my cases did it by a mistake) then there was nothing gained by protesting him..
In the "idiot" case he never ever acted like that again..so it helped...
It`s adults on the servers I guess - and in my world then we acts like adults on the servers....not like spoiled kids..If you have an issue with a driver, take that in PM`s afterwards....not on the server...
It works for sure. A danish guy called a guy an idiot on the server almost two years ago..he got a written warning and a 3 month probation suspension (spelled right?)..
Maybe you would not use the protest system..but I would and I have used it once and I got a PM from the guy iRacing has warned where he said sorry and he learned from it for sure...
If you did that you could end up in trouble..
If the guy did something against you, you should protest him according to the Sporting Code (you have read it?)...because then you would help others so when they (us) met him next time he would drive in a prober way..There is no revenge in iRacing..We have the Sporting Code..
If I saw someone call another driver "maniac" on the server no matter what he did, I would protest him..
BTW I got 10 laps in the Ford Mustang this evening. iRacing made a mistake uploading it and the car was removed again.. Will be out on thursday..but I got 10 laps in it..great car and great sound..
Late Model is a great introducing to oval racing - infact I did not race that car (bought it later when i got in the 100% club) but jumped in the Silverado when my D license was above 4.0...It`s up to you to decide..
